The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is one of the UAE's oldest and most prestigious universities. Established in 1993 by the University of Wollongong in Australia, UOWD is the first foreign University to be accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in the UAE. UOWD is now recognized as being an integral part of the UAE with an enrolment of approximately 4, 500 students representing more than 100 nationalities. UOWD is seeking candidates for Adjunct Faculty and Adjunct Tutor positions to commence in the academic year 2010.
