Company Profile :

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is a public joint-stock company incorporated by Emiri Decree number 5, of March 4, 2006, to spearhead the development of the Emirate's aviation industry.

ADAC Mandate

  • Operate and maintain airports facilities and infrastructure to world-class standards
  • Oversee airport services rendered by private firms and other stakeholders
  • Provide the Emirate's airports with technical and management services to appropriate international standards of efficiency
  • Establish and run free zones

ADAC's creation was in tandem with an ambitious restructuring initiative launched by the Government of Abu Dhabi, aimed at delivering better government services to support the Emirate's long-term strategy to transform into a centre for business and tourism.

Redevelopment Programme

The creation of ADAC marks a milestone in the development of aviation industry in the UAE and the region.

An ambitious multi-billion dollar programme is already underway to transform the existing Abu Dhabi Airport into "a best-in-class" facility that can effectively cater to the needs of the Emirate's prospective growth.
